Astro + Keystatic starter kit
The bilingual, typed, guard-tested starter this site runs on. Content in Keystatic, design tokens with a test that fails on a raw pixel, agents that know the rules.
What it is
A static Astro site with Keystatic as the editor, one collection per content type and locale, and a design system where every colour, size and radius is a token. It is the code behind this website, published so a team can start a content-heavy bilingual site without rebuilding the plumbing.
How it works
Routes live in one registry and pages resolve their paths from it, so a new locale is a dictionary file and a slug per route. Zod schemas are mirrored in the Keystatic config and a test fails if they drift. A guard test scans the source for hex colours, raw pixels and inline styles. Agent rules for design and tone ship in the repository, so a coding agent extends the site the way the team would.
Limits
It is opinionated: Tailwind v4 tokens, no server, no CMS other than Keystatic. It assumes two locales and a static host. Forms post to a webhook you provide. If you need a backend, this is the front half only.
